Yoshimi Arts is pleased to present "Gallery Collection 2026".

This exhibition centers on works from the gallery's collection. With the cooperation of the artists, it also brings together works across a wide range of media and periods, including works by deceased artists.

Among the highlights is a work by Natsuyuki Nakanishi, whose solo exhibition is currently on view at the National Museum of Art, Osaka. His paintings from the 1980s are highly regarded as representing the mature phase of his practice.

Ida, who marks the twentieth anniversary of his death this year, is also featured. Exhibitions of his work are scheduled to be held at the Kyoto City KYOCERA Museum of Art and the Toyota Municipal Museum of Art, and a mixed-media work by Ida will be presented in this exhibition.

A 1989 work by Minako Nishiyama using Kewpie dolls will be shown at Yoshimi Arts for the first time.

Also included are works by Katsuhisa Sato, who will present a solo exhibition at Yoshimi Arts in June this year, and Bunch of Bananas with Design of Mirage* (exhibited in the special exhibition "Tradition and Creation: The Standard-bearers of Contemporary Kutani Ware*", 2017, Sato Memorial Art Museum of Toyama), from Keigo Kamide's representative series Banana, among others.

In total, works by nine artists will be presented.

This exhibition will be held concurrently with an exhibition at the three konohana (Osaka) under the same title and during the same period.
